"How to Eat Fried Worms"

Because of a bet, Billy must eat fifteen worms in fifteen days in this revoltingly hilarious story for intermediate-grade boys. 



By way of a bet, Billy gets into the uncomfortable position of having to eat fifteen worms in fifteen 
days. Should he succeed, his friend Alan will have to pay him $50, enough to buy the minibike Billy 
pines for. The worms are readily supplied by his opponent, and Billy has a free choice of condiments, from peanut butter to horseradish. With his wavering courage bolstered by the moral support of his friends and family. Billy munches away courageously. But there is many a slip 
between the worm and the lip, and the outcome of the bet is continually in doubt. Alan's not giving 
up $50 for any old worms.
